Since the girls were something other than princesses for the first time in their lives, I didn't have a "character" to paint on their pumpkins. So I attempted to paint them. Emma's was done late last night, and she wasn't really wanting to pose for me with her ears on. Hers is definitely not an indication of how cute I think she is! But at least they're done, and the kids are happy :)
I can't believe it took us this long to get out there, we've usually been at least 3 times by the middle of October! And they aren't even dressed in Halloween clothes...I'm really losing my touch...
This was one of the best day trips we have ever made. The girls are old enough now to appreciate the history and they loved learning about "the old days." Emma had just as much fun, but I think it was because she was allowed to play in the dirt all day!
Emma was obsessed with the "baby" on this gravestone, she kept petting and kissing it... By this time she was exhausted, and started dunking this leaf and washing her face with it! The giant pieces of "gold" that Daddy cleverly hid for the girls to find :)
