It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

I love the day after Thanksgiving, we always get our tree and decorate the house. Jason and the girls have outdone themselves this year! And Emma is doing a great job of re-arranging the ornaments on the tree :)

Giving Thanks

Who wouldn't be thankful for a family like this? It's easy to get caught up in every-day life and take it for granted, so it's nice to have days like this to remind us how lucky we are.

Something awesome about watching Grandpa with his only grandson :)

There's the face!

For some reason, this is Emma's new "cheese" face...

Teddy Bear Tea

This is one of my favorite events of the year! The girls bring a teddy bear to have tea with, then move on to crafts and the secret santa shop. They get a chance to buy gifts for their family and wrap them up to surprise their parents. I'm so glad my niece and nephew got to be a part of it this year...

Mouthful of candy cane...

The look on Hayley's face is classic...

Connor was happy with Auntie Bonnie :)

Right before she broke the beautiful ornament...

Poor Grandma didn't get a break between Hayley and Emma!

My favorite ladies :)

I can't get enough of this kid...as you can see...

Halloween...is finally over!

I have to admit, I wasn't very into it this year. We didn't have a party, but it still seemed like Halloween was so much work! But last night was the most fun trick-or-treating we've ever had. Kayla & Abbey ran up and down the streets choosing which houses we should go to (only the decorated ones!) And Emma stood right up there with them to collect her candy, then waved bye bye every time. She had a death grip on her heavy treat bag the entire time :)

Emma wasn't very happy...

But then she had a handful of candy corn...

Kayla took her role as vampire very seriously!

Painting Pumpkins

Since the girls were something other than princesses for the first time in their lives, I didn't have a "character" to paint on their pumpkins. So I attempted to paint them. Emma's was done late last night, and she wasn't really wanting to pose for me with her ears on. Hers is definitely not an indication of how cute I think she is! But at least they're done, and the kids are happy :)
